CHEMIX School - Graph Plot
To plot a graph using CHEMIX School plotting tool - Curve Fit & Function Plot is not complicated. Simply start the CHEMIX School program and select Curve Fit & Function Plot (graph plot) button. Insert a function (e.g. X^3) representing your graph in the Plot function f(x) edit field and press Calculate. If no y-limits are given manually, an auto-scale feature in the program will use Y-max/min limits. It is possible to plot two graphs at the same time in CHEMIX School graph plot software. A second graph can generated by inserting a function in the Data Manipulation g(x,y) text edit field and Calculate (Note: All data must be removed from Data (x y) text field before this operation). Generated x,y points can be interpolated by selecting cubic spline as interpolation method.
Other options in CHEMIX School are: cuve fitting, spline interpolation, calculate definite integrals, plot derivatives and the abiltity to manipulate data. By the copy to clipboard option, a bitmap of the figure/plot/graph can be pasted into other (paste enabled) applications such as word processors etc.
